Another favourite ‘cool drink’ and for many years the domestic market leader was Limca. It’s a lemon-lime drink. Bottled like a soda but much less carbonated than your typical fizzy.

Limca! Now that’s something I really enjoyed in India a long time ago. Locals told me not to drink it, as it was, according to them, filtered through asbestos

A Limca fan, huh? I don’t know about the asbestos, but you’re probably better off drinking that than a bottle someone’s filled up with fake Pepsi. My favourite is Maaza, the mango drink.
